Hilary, our principal dentist started working as an associate dentist here in 1988 and she bought the practice in 2001. She enjoys the variety of general dentistry and has a particular interest in orthodontics, for which she undertook further study at Bristol, gaining valuable experience at Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
Hilary was joined by two talented dentists, Ulrika in 2008 and her husband Tomas in 2009. Their warm and caring attitude and excellent clinical standards make them popular with patients of all ages.

The primary roles of our hygienist, Tina, and our oral health educator, Nina, are to ensure your mouth remains healthy and free from tooth decay and gum disease. This is achieved by professionally deep-cleaning your teeth and gums and teaching you the best brushing and flossing techniques for improving your dental routine at home.

Our GDC-registered dental nurses are responsible for maintaining strict cross-infection controls to ensure patients and the clinical team are suitably protected. Mary and Janice have many years of dental nursing experience and are very knowledgeable about all aspects of dentistry. They endeavour to put patients at ease to create a pleasant and comfortable experience.

Michael is our practice manager and he works hard to make sure our busy practice runs smoothly and efficiently. He is a qualified lecturer and NVQ assessor, making him the ideal person to carry out our in-house training. As well as being a dedicated and meticulous practice administrator, Elaine is also a qualified oral health educator. They are joined by our receptionist, Julie, who has extensive dental reception experience and qualifications in customer service.
